Inclusivity and Nervous Patient Appointments

Throughout my professional career, I have predominantly worked within substance misuse and mental health services as a trauma-informed practitioner. Working alongside those with additional needs, who have experienced trauma or are particularly anxious is something which comes naturally to me.

Some of the patients I work with are neurodivergent, have experienced complex trauma, or PTSD and/or OCD. I work in partnership with my patients to understand their needs, concerns and to provide them with a safe and welcoming space for their treatments.

If you feel you would benefit from having additional time in your appointment for whatever reason, you can add on 15 minutes to your appointment for free, by using the ‘Additional Inclusivity time’ option on Booksy.

‘It was my first time getting any aesthetic procedure, and I’m someone who hates needles, often passes out and is generally in a state of panic with anything new. Sophie was wonderful, made me feel comfortable and at ease and didn’t make me feel stupid for asking what happens if I’m allergic or pass out etc etc will definitely be going back and recommending her to friends, if your nervous I can’t recommend Sophie enough! Thanks Sophie!’
