Joy by Sophie is one of the UK’s first clinics dedicated to gender-affirming aesthetic treatments, working alongside the trans and gender diverse community to create treatment plans that support facial harmony and reduce dysphoria.
Founder Sophie Brooks is a registered nurse, educator and speaker, with published work on gender-affirming aesthetics and neurodivergent-friendly healthcare.

If you haven’t been to Joy by Sophie before, this is probably the best place to start. I offer free 15-minute consultations for a quick chat, or you can book for a longer consultation if you are sure you want to opt for treatment on the day.

Dermal filler is a hyaluronic acid-based substance, which can be used across the whole face to restore lost volume, to contour the face or to soften deeper lines.

Anti-wrinkle treatments involve injecting prescription medicine Botulinum Toxin into the muscle. This binds to the receptors in the muscle to prevent the brain from communicating with the muscle to relax it, resulting in less movement and the softening of wrinkles.

I offer consultations for correctional work of previous aesthetic treatments which may not of had the desired outcome. This can include overfilled areas, migrated filler, filler injected too close to the surface and causing a tyndall effect.
