BOOKING POLICY

Making an Appointment 

All appointments are made using the timely booking system, you can access this on my website, on my social media sites, and through google - or by clicking on this link

Booking Fee 

A £50 booking fee is required for all appointments which is assigned to that specific appointment and time. The booking fee is non-refundable but can be transferred to another appointment providing a minimum of 48-hours notice is given. If you cancel or amend the appointment within the 48 hour notice period, the standard cancellation policy will apply. The cancellation policy can be found here. If you attend an initial appointment and decide to book a second appointment to go ahead with treatment at a later date, a second booking fee will be required.

New Patients 

New patients are required to attend an initial patient consultation as their first appointment. This ensures there is enough time to complete a medical consultation and holistic assessment and to have one treatment on the day. The booking fee is redeemable against this specific appointment. 

Free Consultations

Free Consultations are a great opportunity for you to meet me as an injector and to have a feel for the clinic space before going ahead with treatment. These are short ten minute appointments to discuss your aesthetic goals and for me to advise what treatments would be suitable based on these. If you would like to discuss treatments in depth, or have specific skincare recommendations please book in for an initial patient consultation. There is no cost however a card will be required to reserve the slot with a cancellation fee in the event of a no-show or late cancellation. 

Pre-Appointment Forms

Forms will be sent to you ahead of your appointment, this will include asking you about previous treatments, your aesthetic goals, and a medical background. Please ensure this is filled in completely with all background medical information requested to prevent delay to your treatment, ideally as soon as they are received but at least 48 hours before the appointment time. If you do not complete the form before your appointment, your appointment may not be able to go ahead and the booking fee will be forfeited. 

Treatment Delay 

In certain circumstances it may be necessary to delay treatment to ensure patient safety, such as withholding information from the pre-appointment form and/or the practitioner decides it is within the best interests of the patient to delay treatment to prevent harm to health. This may include, but is not limited too, open wounds near the treatment site, active infection, cold sores, high alcohol intake, recent skin piercing treatment, if a patient is under the influence if drugs/alcohol. If treatment is delayed for medical/safety reasons, your booking fee will be retained and the cost of any unused product will remain on your file to be used at your rearranged appointment. 

Medical Suitability

To ensure medical suitability for a treatment, please complete the pre-appointment forms and answer all pre-screening questions in full. It is important that all medical information is included, even you deem it not necessary, to ensure that any risks can be managed effectively by the practitioner. 

Discount Codes

Discount codes are non-transferable and can only be used by the recipient who received them, on the initial appointment booked. Discount codes do not apply to courses, packages, already discounted services, and cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts. 

Inclusivity Time

Inclusivity time is offered for those who feel it is medically necessary for them to have an additional 15 minutes within their appointment time to ensure comfort. If you feel that you would benefit from the additional 15 minutes inclusivity time, please contact using the WhatsApp link here to request this additional time, it may be necessary to move your appointment to accommodate this if the diary is particularly busy. 

These terms apply to everyone who comes to Joy by Sophie and are not personal. I will always treat patients with compassion and understanding, however this policy acts a way to safeguard my business (and my income) - so I can continue to deliver the best service to all my wonderful patients!
